PRESS RELEASE

Hoxton to play host to peace benefit evening

5 May 2004: for immediate release

Big names in music and the peace movement are coming together to raise money for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. Matt Black from coldcut will be dropping beats alongside a live speech from Tony Benn at The Legion, Old Street, on Wednesday 12th May.

Also on the night will be a 14 minute film by Movement for the Abolition of War, introduced by Bruce Kent, vice president of CND and long standing peace activist. The CND fundraiser promises some very special unannounced guest dj’s, which makes this a must-go-to Wednesday nighter.
