Other CND schemes to apply for:Campaign Magazine Campaign is CND's newsletter especially for activists. It's produced three times a year and it's FREE Lobby The lobbying of Parliament by individuals is essential and gives CND's lobbying work the credibility and weight it needs to succeed.Lobby, our parliamentary newsletter, gives background information on the politics of nuclear disarmament and provides skeleton letters for you to adapt to your own use. And it's free. To receive Lobby, email: sama@cnduk.org Letter-writing team Letters can inform, encourage and put forward our point of view. CND has a letter-writing team, which sends out letters eight or nine times a year. We provide background information and a list of points to make. Not everyone can write every letter but even one a year helps. For current letter, click here. To join the scheme, please email membership@cnduk.org or ring the National office, indicating whether you want to receive information by e-mail or post. A UK Ambassador to the UN has said that the NGOs should continue to write to him since 'their correspondences make a difference and have sometimes changed his instructions'. Civil servants have complained about letters from CND members 'clogging the system'! So let's make our presence felt! Local Groups There are many CND groups across the country. They are the basis of CND, involving people locally and campaigning on your doorstep. Click here to see if there is one in your area. Member get member We need more members to continue our work.
