to remember Chernobyl victims

Chernobyl victims will be remembered in Norfolk with a series of events
to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the nuclear power station explosion.
On Wednesday, 20 years since the disaster, Norwich CND will show a film
reconstructing the explosion and its aftermath at the Greenhouse in Bethel
Street at 7.30pm, followed by a discussion.
The same day, an exhibition - Chernobyl: 20 Years on, 20 Lives - will
show at the Forum before moving on the next day to the Greenhouse where
it will stay until May 20.
On Saturday at the Haymarket from 2pm to 4pm, Eastern CND will be performing
street theatre involving the building of a three-dimensional model of
a nuclear power station.
And on May 7, at 6.30pm, there will be a Service of Remembrance at Norwich
Cathedral.
