End the Plutonium Trade
Power campaign page
CND campaigns for the establishment of a British nuclear waste management
policy, a stop to the reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel, and the prevention
of the re-use and transportation of plutonium.
We campaign against the rail transportation of nuclear materials, the
reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel in the THORP and B205 Sellafield plants,
the manufacture of mixed-oxide (MOX) fuel and the consequent international
traffic in plutonium, MOX and other radioactive materials.
We continue to campaign against any expansion of Britain’s civil
nuclear power programme, at both local and national level.
