Spend a weekend camping on the beach at Sizewell and learning about the plans for the new nuclear power station. Come show your opposition to nuclear power, and your support for sustainable energy solutions. The weekend includes a protest at the power station entrance, skill-shares and other workshops, woodland and beach walks. Now is the time to take action against nuclear new build – come join us to say ‘Nuclear power – No thanks!’

The Camp

Demonstration: Saturday 21st April, 12noon at the entrance to Sizewell A and B

Workshops and Walks
Saturday and Sunday, at the Camp

A number of workshops including: basic nuclear physics, a discussion on controversies around nuclear power, alternative energy supplies, and walks along the beach.

Chernobyl Remembrance
Sunday 22nd April, 1pm at the Camp

Getting There
Sizewell is on the Suffolk Coast, about 8 miles from the A12 and about 100 miles from central London. The nearest train station is Saxmundham, which is 7 miles from Sizewell.
Get in touch if you will need transport from the train station.

Coach from London

There will be a coach from London leaving at 8:15am prompt from the Embankment. It will also pick up at 9am prompt from outside Redbridge tube station (Central line), arriving at Sizewell by noon.

The return coach will leave 5pm prompt on Saturday from the car park near the anti-nuclear camp arriving back in London by about 8pm.

Return tickets are £20, or £10, or as much as you can afford unwaged. Half-price tickets available for those who will want to say on at the Sizewell camp into Sunday.
