Greenham Peace Garden Gathering
1:00 - 6:00pm, Saturday 3rd September
The Peace Garden opened on 2nd October 2002 and is situated on the land where the first peace camp was set up on 5th September 1981.
1.00 - 1.30pm Film: Carry Greenhorn Home, introduced by Amanda Richardson, film director.
2.30 - 2.45pm Short talk by Jean Hutchinson on the legal battle to free the common land after sixty years of occupation by the MoD.
3.00 - 3.30pm Short talk by Jacky Ackam, project officer for West Berkshire Living Landscape, on the changes that have taken place at Greenham Common.
3.30 - 4.15pm Celebrations with wine and cake.
