CND Conference

Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October 2010

Conference is the opportunity for members to decide our overall direction for the coming year, to debate contemporary issues and to draw strength and inspiration from participating in a collective national forum. Following the success of last year's conference, Saturday will once again see an international conference, while normal conference and AGM business will be held on the Sunday. The venue for CND Conference will once again be Mary Ward House , 5-7 Tavistock Place, London, WC1H 9SN. (See map)

The Conference Booklet 2010 is now available to download here. These will be sent out to all those attending CND Conference soon.

International Conference
Saturday 9th October
Venue:  Mary Ward House, 5-7 Tavistock Place, London, WC1H 9SN.  (See map)

This year CND's international conference will look at prospects for scrapping Trident and achieving a nuclear weapons free world in the context of the outcomes of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference.
We will welcome a range of international guests to help us discuss the following themes:

  • Scrapping Trident: time for global nuclear disarmament
  • No to NATO: no war, no nukes
  • Missile Defence: say no to a new system
  • Opposing nuclear power expansion
  • The way forward for the movement

While entrance to the International Conference is included in the registration fee for those attending CND's national conference and AGM (details above), it can also be attended as a separate event for members and non-members alike at the rate of £10 waged / £5 concessions.
